About the Artist

Jamie Gaylor is a wife, mother of 5 amazing children, an elementary school teacher, and a devoted dog mom.

A few years ago, Jamie rediscovered her love for painting. It was a passion that began in high school but patiently hibernated while she focused on raising a family. With her kids now grown, the shifting seasons of life have reawakened a hunger for creative expression.

For Jamie, the world becomes quiet when she is immersed in her artwork.  Painting provides a sense of freedom and peace—a spiritual reprieve from the stresses of life, and an onramp into the presence of God.

Her favorite quote is "Be Creative. It lights up your soul." It’s a sentiment that fuels her artistic journey and resonates deeply with her philosophy in the classroom and in the home.

Whether she’s loving on her family, educating a child, or painting a new watercolor masterpiece, her passion for expressing the simplicity of God’s love in authentic, non-religious packages is her core motivation.
